According to preliminary information of law enforcement officers, a local resident wounded two women with a knife, after which he set fire to hay. He later attacked rescuers who arrived to put out a fire. One of them was knife wound, the second – bodily harm.
Police from the Kryvyi Rih branch also arrived at the scene of the incident. At the time of the arrival of law enforcement officers, the defendant attacked his father with a knife, who was injured, the police say.
“The husband did not respond to the legal requirements of the police, resisted and attacked the law enforcement officers. During the termination of illegal actions, the police officer made warning shots into the air, after which he applied firearms against the offender. As a result of the wounds received, a 42-year-old man died,” the message said.
Law enforcement officers find out all the circumstances of the incident. In addition, an official investigation is scheduled.
