According to the website of Tu Oława, employees of the Greenbrier Poland plant in Oława (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship) received information on the planned liquidation of the plant on August 18. The employer was to inform the crew that the plant would terminate the activity at the end of October.
According to the website, the decision was made without previous consultations with the relationship. In July, the trade union side asked the management board to provide information on the company's economic situation and plans for further action. She has not received an answer yet.

“For many years, people in pre -retirement age, lonely parents or guardians of the disabled suddenly found out that in a few weeks they can lose their jobs. This is not just a company problem – this is a problem of hundreds of families in Oława and the entire local community,” said a representative of the trade union in an interview with Tura Oława.

Production activity will be consolidated in Świdnica, where the company is based. “All direct production employees in the branch in Oława and some employees of other departments will receive offers to take up work in Świdnica along with the possibility of taking advantage of free access to a new workplace,” said Oława Personal Director Greenbrier Poland Aleksandra Bujak.
