The new criteria for the position of head of section in hospitals, announced by the Minister of Health. “I can no longer stay in inertia.”

The heads of section, laboratory or medical service will sign administration based on clear performance indicators, monitored annually, and the position will not be occupied only by formalities, says the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete.

In a message posted on Facebook on Saturday, Rogobete claims that the law will be modified so that the functions of department heads in hospitals are not occupied only by formalities: “Each candidate will take a real exam, based on a project to develop the section and medical team, with concrete indicators and measurable objectives.”

“The university quality can no longer be the only recommendation to become the head of the section. It is a normality that we must bring back to hospitals. I know the resistance is great, but together we can do good, ”says the Minister of Health.

“My message is firm: the department heads can no longer remain in inertia. They must be active, professional and responsible leaders,” he adds.
