Which is, according to the Minister of Economy, a correct value of the threshold to set up a company

The threshold of 8,000 lei for setting up a company seems a bit abrupt and maybe a correct value would be about as much as the Romanian state to abolish such a company, respectively around 500 euros, believes the Minister of Economy, Radu Miruţă.
“The threshold of 8,000 lei is a proposal of the Ministry of Finance, who understand that it has started from the fact that there are about 460,000 companies that are without activity in Romania. I have already exposed a point of view on this subject. Grosolan, because you catch those, but you punish some who are of good faith, who are creative, who have an initiative-setting up a SRL, not necessarily a PFA-and I think this value should be discussed, “said Economy Minister Radu Miruţă, on Thursday, in a press.
“My proposal is that it is a bit high. Maybe a fair value would be about how much it costs on the Romanian state to abolish such a company,” he pointed out.
In his opinion, this threshold of setting up a company should be equal to the costs that the state should bear to abolish this company that has no activity.
“The Romanian state, if it has to abolish such a company, has to hire a liquidator. Plus the effort of the Trade Register, from ANAF, I understand that it is somewhere at 500 euros the cost appreciated for the Romanian state to solve the problem. Perhaps an aspect that deserves to be discussed, it is that I, as a state, will not be able to make it a value,” supported the chief from the economy.
In the package 2 of fiscal measures it is provided to increase the share capital to 8,000 lei for SRL, from 1 leu, the elimination of the ceiling of 50,000 lei for card payments, and the tax on the turnover, which currently applies to companies with business of over 50 million euros, will be replaced with a new tax on the area, so that the area is to be targeted.
“Why oblige us? The state should be the invisible hand that helps. Now it is the visible hand that confuses us.” The increase of the share capital to 8,000 lei is discouraging, say the small entrepreneurs
