For the first time at the Senior World Championships, Gymnast Amalia Lică has qualified in two finals

The gymnasts, accompanied by their coaches Adriana Mitroi and Cătălina Radu and Irina Deleanu, the president of the Romanian Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics, left on Monday, August 18, to Rio de Janeiro.

For the first time at the World Senior Championships, Amalia Lică recorded A score of 83,050 (28,150 in the circle, 26,600 at the ball, 28,750 in Măciuci, 26.550 on the ribbon)due to which he qualified in the final of the individual compound.

Also, with the 7th score in Măciuci, the 16-year-old athlete qualified in the final and this test.

On Friday, August 22, Lică will compete in the final at the individual compound and Sunday, August 24, it will compete in the final at Măciuci. The best qualifications scores were obtained by the German DarFarolomeev (92,850), Ukrainian Taisia ​​Onofriichuk (90,150), Bulgarian Stiliana Nikolova (88,800), Italian Sofia Raffaeli (87,350) and Uzbeca Takhmin Ikromova (86,300).

Amalia Lică is trained by Adriana Mitroi and, over the years, has won numerous European and world medals in junior competitions. The gymnast from Bucharest has a silver (circle) and a bronze (team) at the World Championships of 2023 (Cluj-Napoca) and 5 gold and one silver at the European Junior Championships.
