The case “Alexander Isak” has escalated in the last days and, as Mercato Summer is approaching the end, tends to “explode”. More recently, the legend of Newcastle United, Alan Shearer, was “insinuated”.
Alan Shearer: “Oh, God, what a bargain his businessman made”
The former goalscorer of the team, now TV analyst, said we are witnessing a “big bargain”, for which he did directly responsible for the striker on strike because the club does not let him go to Liverpool. Shearer thinks should be fired immediately!
“Oh, Lord, what a bargain his businessman made, honestly. If I were in place of Isak, I would take his agent to a room and dismiss him on the spot, because he advised you to sign the six-year contract (no-from 2022 to 2028) and there is no exit clause!
It is ridiculous to believe someone on the word in football … There is no point in saying that someone said, “Oh, I will be able to leave the end of the season”, commented the former English international.
Alexander Isak accuses the club of breach of a promise, Newcastle claims that he did not do it
The Swedish striker, who for one month trains himself, refusing to play in the first stage of the new season, against Aston Villa (0-0), published an explosive statement. He accused the club of violating his promises regarding a possible departure and stated that, after all these events, his relationship with “Coțofeni” is definitively compromised.
Newcastle reacted, in turn, in a statement in which she claims that she had absolutely no promise because she never made a promise to Isak. “I have always said that there are two parts of each story, but my feelings are exactly the same. The player has done wrong,” says Shearer.
Liverpool has offered 127 million euros, Newcastle wants at least 170 million
He believes that “the publication of this statement by Isak put straw on the fire, which I didn't need to do. I understand that I had to hear the version, I heard it now and I do not say that I do not believe him or Newcastle, I just say he is very, very complicated for him and for the club. He does not benefit anyone.”
Shearer's advice: “If he apologized and would return to the group before the end of the transfer period, then there would be a way to return for him.” Liverpool has made an offer of 127 million euros for Isak, but Newcastle wants at least 170 million in return. In addition, so far he did not find a replacement.
