The schools of Krasnoyarsk took acceptance, the readiness of educational institutions for the start of the school year was appreciated at a visiting meeting, which was conducted by the acting head of the city Alexei Shuvalov.
The city hall said that the event took place at school No. 137 on Shipostrostruitnaya Street. The discussion was attended by the chairman of the Krasnoyarsk City Council of deputies Natalia Firyulina, the heads of the districts of the city, representatives of the education industry, law enforcement and supervisory authorities, and the chairman of the citywide parent council, Alexei Nifantiev. Together they examined the training classes, checked the updated catering unit and a museum of combat glory, opened here in 1985.
As Marina Chernyshkova, deputy head of the Main Department of Education, said at a meeting, all institutions that participated in the acceptance were adopted by the municipal commission for the new school year 2025-2026. On September 1, Krasnoyarsk schools will open their doors for almost 150 thousand children. Of these, 8 thousand will return to their native schools, which were comprehensively repaired thanks to federal and regional support.
“Huge work has been done to prepare 113 city institutions for the beginning of the school year. Two school buildings were commissioned – on the street. March 8 and take -off – with a total capacity of 2,200 students, 6 schools will accept children after major repairs. On September 1, the Governor of the Territory set the corresponding task to open the institutions on September 1, ”said Alexei Shuvalov.
Special attention in the preparation of educational organizations was given security. The city is undergoing systematic work to strengthen the protection of institutions. So, over the past year, an additional 453 video surveillance cameras were mounted in schools, also the checkpoints and gates with firm fixation of the wings are installed at the entrances.
One of the main issues of the meeting was the organization of nutrition of children. As part of the preparation for the new school year, 11 catering units were modernized, of which 6 are under the overhaul of buildings. From September 1, 10 more schools are transferred to independent food supply – a total of such institutions will be 35. In other schools, operators will provide students with food.
“The topic of food is one of the most relevant among parents. But it is necessary that the majority does not stand aside, but is in a dialogue with the school. Today you can come, try, evaluate what children are fed. The transition of institutions to independent food makes it possible to diversify the dishes, to approach this individually, ”said Alexei Nifantiev, chairman of the citywide parent council.
To date, the necessary equipment, kitchen inventory, dishes have been purchased for catering units. Contracts have been concluded for the supply of food. Production control programs have been developed, the menu was approved. The staff is equipped with employees in full.
