Treatment is always aimed at restoring normal blood flow and eliminating provoking factors. Drug therapy includes drugs to expand blood vessels, improve the rheological properties of blood and protect nerve cells from hypoxia. When osteochondrosis is detected, anti -inflammatory drugs and muscle relaxants are used to relieve muscle spasm.
An important role is played by non -drug treatment: physiotherapy exercises, massage, posture correction, and avoiding sharp movements of the head. In severe cases, the issue of surgical intervention is considered. The early start of therapy increases the chances of stabilizing the condition and preventing complications, including stroke.
