Researchers dealing with the history of the Nobel Peace Prize in the Saturday edition of the Norwegian daily “AFTENPOSTEN” excluded that the US President could count on this distinction. They presented a list of reasons why Donald Trump will not receive a prize.

Ivar Libaek, Asle Sveen and Oyvind Stenersen, scientists from the University of Oslo and the authors of the monograph devoted to the history awarded by the Nobel Prizely Nobel Committee, expressed certainty in the weekend storage that Trump has no chance to receive the prize. A few weeks ago, the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu informed about the notification of the US President for the Nobel Peace Prize a few weeks ago. The committee did not confirm this nomination, reminding that, according to the principles of their work, all information related to awarding the award remain secret for 50 years from the award.
