Sorana Cîrstea qualified on the main panel of the WTA 250 tournament from Cleveland

The Romanian player Sorana Cîrstea (35 years, the 138th place) also passed the second round of qualifications in the WTA tournament in Cleveland, 6-2, 6-2 with Rebeka Masarova (Switzerland, 26 years, number 105 WTA), and climbed on the main table.
Sorana Cîrstea had the best evolution of Romanians in the WTA 1000 contest in Cincinnati, one with a large painting and stretched for two weeks. For Cîrstea is the second presence at the Tennis in the Land in Cleveland. In 2022 he passed in the inaugural round by Marcela Zacarias in Mexico, Lucky Loser, 6-2, 6-3, but lost in the next round in front of Polish Magda Linette, 4-6, 2-6.
