US President Donald Trump informed European leaders that Vladimir Putin agreed that as part of the peace agreement in Ukraine, Western soldiers would be stationed who would guarantee its durability, “Wall Street Journal” said on Saturday.


During a telephone conversation on Saturday, around 3 Central European time, Trump told European leaders that he worked 24 hours without a break. He seemed tired and irritated by Putin's attitude – say officials participating in the conversation.
He also told European leaders that he wants to take a three -sided meeting with Zelanski and Putin to accelerate the peace process by the end of next week – European officials informed.
Trump and Zełenski are to meet on Monday in the oval office on talks, in which at least one more European leader will take part. Trump said that if the talks are successful, he would arrange a meeting with Putin.
According to them, Trump announced that he would consider the re -threat of immediate sanctions against Russia only if three -sided conversations do not bring progress.

The US president was also to declare that he is open to offer Ukraine American security guarantees. This is a significant change in his position about the role of the US at the end of the war – emphasized the conservative daily.
Trump also reported that Putin would not stop fighting during peace conversations and insisted that Ukraine would renounce the eastern territory in exchange for freezing the front line in other parts of the country.
The American leader was also to inform that Putin agreed that Western forces were present as a peace agreement in Ukraine that would guarantee his compliance.
US security guarantees could potentially enable Volodymyr Zielnski to compromise in conversations with Putin, provided that Russia is ready to negotiate in good faith – the officials on which the newspaper cites.
Three people familiar with the case said that Trump suggested that the guarantees could include American military support for European forces in Ukraine, but did not undertake to stationing American soldiers there.
Security guarantees described by Trump during the conversation included double -sided security obligations as well as financial and military support for the Ukrainian armed forces through the Western coalition of volunteers, including the United States – said three European officials.
