First of all, Vochin admits that it was difficult to be impartial at the beginning in the press. Then he revealed that he was at the same time the fan of two rivals in the capital.

“I kept with two bands. It is harder to be so, but I had two types of influence,” says Răzvan Burleanu's adviser, president of the federation.

Exclusive video | After more than 30 years of press, Andrei Vochin was asked what team is: “I was on the same day at the Rapid's match, and at the Star match. In Ghencea”

Later he develops: “The first influence was my grandfather, the one who first took me to the stadium, who was a football fan, who lived in Giulești. And he took me to Rapid, the first football match I saw in the lawn from the theater, there had his place on the grade, just above the area where the players came out of the changing room. And I kept quickly when I was little”.

“Then, through the third grade, fourth, fifth, I have no idea, playing football in the school yard, in front of the block, he saw me a colonel who lived with us in the block, in Berceni. On the fifth floor, I remember now.

Plus he knew from my father, who had also played football to the level of Division C, at Viscofil, through Popești-Leordeni, on Danubiana, on him there, he broke his feet at 25: meniscus, ligaments. Having the example in the house, it didn't need that anymore, ”adds Vochin.

Andrei Vochin: “That's how I became a star”

However, the colonel had a profit later. And Vochin reaches Star's juniors.

“Finally, this colonel has been tormented for a year: it came once, twice a year, until – and my cry – my mother let me go and went. Being legitimized there, so I became a star. I was playing Petre Mihai, in the group ”, reveals the former journalist from Gazeta Sporturi.

“Entering the press, it was hard for me at first. When I entered the press, in '90, I was a star. Actually I was saying, when I was little, thatI was with the star of Division A and Rapid from Division B.

They were both in my soul. And quickly, for my dad and because I had opened my eyes with them and wanted to promote. They also played Ghencea, they shouted, at one point, “Steaua and Rapid love themselves”, a song that today the quickists do not recognize. Rapid played in Ghencea towards the late 1980s. They were in Division B, they even played a derby with oil and beat in Ghencea with 5-1. I went to the match.

In fact, I went to two matches: in the morning he played quickly with Oil and then he played Steaua in Division A. And I went to both matches, I made a gallery, I was a child, ”reports Vochin.

“It took years until I broke”

Which first entered the press more than 30 years ago, in Romanian sport, in 1991.

“It was very difficult for me at first. You just know what helped me to become impartial? The first entrance to the phenomenon. When you are a supporter, you are from the outside. When you see a football character on the street, well … I was desperate to see players on the street, to go behind them.

I was leaving the stadiums and I was just going to see what cigarette smokes Petcu, how beautiful Duckadam smells, I knew where I live, the block on the Taberei Road where each, where Balint stood, where Belodedici stood, I was passionate. Then, easy, easy, when you enter their world, you begin to meet them. Starting to know them, obviously, like every man, you see them, and evils.

You, when you are there, supporter, see only those good, good parts, and are your idols. You start to know the clubs too …

And the deeper you enter, the more you realize that impartiality is the best. It took me 3, 4, 5 years – at the Romanian sport I was then – to detach myself from this. And he used me afterwards, starting with ProSport I had no problem. You are so free, you have no emotion like that, when you write something or make a decision at a certain time …”, Concluded Andrei Vochin.
