Trump flies to Alaska. He warned Russia against serious effects


US President Donald Trump on Friday morning flew to Alaska, where he is to meet Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The main topic of conversations that are to take place at the Elmenorf-Richardson military base in Anchorage will be the war in Ukraine.
Trump and Putin are to meet in the US Air Force base at 11.00 local time, i.e. at 21.00 in Poland. The American president is accompanied by a 16-person delegation.
Before departing to Alaska, Trump wrote on his website Truth Social that “the rate is high”. Trump flew to Alaska aboard Air Force One, which started from the Andrews base, Maryland
Trump said on the way to Alaska that Americans may consider security guarantees for Ukraine “together with Europe and other countries”, but not within NATO.
The president added that Putin will accompany many representatives of Russian business during a visit to the USA. – That's good. I like it because they want to do business. But there will be no business until the war ends – said the president.
Referring to Russian attacks on Ukraine, he assessed that Putin thinks that it would help him contain a better system. However, as Trump said “it harms him” and announced that he would talk to him about it.

Trump also announced that he intends to discuss the subject of territories with Putin, but the decision in this matter should be made by Kiev. – Putin wanted to occupy all of Ukraine. If I wasn't the president, he would take over all of Ukraine. But he won't do it – he added.
He also announced that in the next two weeks he would put duties on steel and chips. He added that initially their rate would not be high.
