A road accident occurred on Friday afternoon on DJ 507, near Gostinu, Giurgiu County. A 17-year-old young motorcyclist lost his life after colliding with a car driven by a 22-year-old man. The driver was transported to the hospital for medical care.
According to police, the motorcyclist would not have adapted the speed in a curve and hit the car that was traveling regularly. “The driver was tested with the ethyl tester, the result being negative“, IPJ Giurgiu representatives said, according to Agerpres.

The firefighters from the Giurgiu Detachment intervened on the spot, with an extinguishing vehicle, two SAJ ambulances and police crews. The SMURD helicopter was also requested.
