Manchester United is trying to transfer Carlos Baleba from Brighton, at the request of coach Ruben Amorim, who wants a central midfielder to accelerate the team reconstruction.

The “pelicans” require about 120 million pounds for the 21 -year -old player, and the owner Tony Bloom does not get used to leaving the price. United could offer 80 million now and the rest in the form of bonuses. He also discussed the inclusion of Jadon Sancho in the business, but Brighton does not seem interested, and the British seems to go to AS Rome.

Baleba, the missing song from Amorim's puzzle?

The club's budget is assisted by how the other transfers made this summer, Matheus Cunha, Bryan MBUMO and Benjamin Sesko, with smaller amounts paid in the first installments.

Baleba is considered the right player for the requirements of Amorim: immediately useful and with great potential for the future. If they fail now, the “devils” will try again the year. An alternative variant is Adam Wharton from Crystal Palace, but it could cost even more during this period, especially since Palace does not want to lose other important holders, such as Marc Guehi or Eberechi Eze.

Manchester United analyzed other names: Morten Hjumland from Sporting, of which there are doubts about the physique for the desired role, and Ederson from Atalanta, which would provide other types of qualities.

One thing is clear, however: Baleba wants very much to reach Old Trafford, and this aspect could weigh a lot in negotiations. If Baleba's transfer will materialize, it could go directly to the top of the most expensive moves of this mercato period.

The most expensive transfers made this summer:

  1. Florian Wirtz – from Leverkusen, Liverpool (125 million euros)

  2. Hugo Ekitike – from Frankfurt, Liverpool (90 million euros)

  3. Benjamin Sesko – from Leipzig, Manchester United (76.5 million euros)

  4. Victor Osimhen – from Naples, Galatasaray (75 million euros)

  5. Bryan Mbeumo – from Brentford, Manchester United (75 million euros)

  6. Matheus Cunha – from Wolves, Manchester United (74.2 million euros)

  7. Martin Zubimendi – from Sociedad, to Arsenal (70 million euros)

  8. Luis Diaz – from Liverpool, to Bayern (70 million euros)

  9. Mateo Reteguui – from Atalanta, to Al -Qadsiah (68.2 million euros)

  10. Viktor Gyokeres – from Sporting, to Arsenal (65.8 million euros)

  • The band on the “Dream Theater” could pay around 140 million euros for Baleba's services.

  • If United will transfer Baleba for the mentioned amount, only three players would remain more expensive, over time: Neymar (222), Mbappe (180) and Dembele (148).

40 million eurosIt is the Cameroonian share, according to the transfermarkt specialized portal, which has achieved 3 goals and a decisive pass in the previous season, noting rather by the defensive qualities.

How could Manchester United look this season, if Baleba reaches “Old Trafford”:

(3-4-2-1): Onana – Yoro, de Ligt, Shaw – Diallo, Baleba, Fernandes, Dorgu – Mbeumo, Cunha – Sesko
