Against the ex-head of the traffic police of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Andrei Sirotinin opened another criminal case of a bribe.
According to investigators, in the spring of 2024, the accused freed a resident of the regional center from bringing to administrative responsibility. He ordered his subordinates to remove data from the service base on the man's request taken out by the man to remove his car from the glasses.
“For the illegal service of the traffic police of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, he received a bribe from the Krasnoyarsk in the form of repair work in a police officer at a low cost. The total amount of remuneration amounted to about 120 thousand rubles, ”the Investigative Committee said.
Recall that the traffic police (now – the traffic police) Andrei Sirotinin headed from August 2022 to November 2024. At the end of autumn, it became known that he was leaving his post in connection with his retirement, and in January 2025 he was detained.
First, the former head of the traffic police of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory was charged with exceeding the official powers and receiving a bribe of 925 thousand rubles. However, later new episodes were revealed in his business.
Now Andrei Sirotinin is in custody. As part of the investigation of the new criminal case, an assessment of his actions, as well as the actions of the bribe taker, will be evaluated.
