August 15 16:51

Krasnoyarstsev is invited to the Big Astronomical Forum, which for the second year in a row has been supported by Polyus, as well as Rosmolodzh and the Fund of Presidential Grants as part of the scientific and educational project “We went!”. From August 18 to 24, the event will unite space lovers, professional scientists and residents of the region.

The forum program is designed for the widest audience. In the afternoon, guests will be able to listen to lectures from invited scientists on a variety of topics – from astronautics and black holes to astronomy in art. And with the onset of darkness under the guidance of experienced astronomers, everyone will be able to look into the eyepieces of powerful telescopes to see distant galaxies and nebulae. In addition, the program planes master classes on astrophotography, launching a rocket and, of course, a meeting with a real astronaut.

Materials on the topic

The forum will consist of two parts: city and outbound. The city platform will unfold at the Planet shopping center, where popular science lectures will be held, and an interactive zone for children and adults will also work. The main and most spectacular part of the forum will be held in Khakassia, away from city lights. There, participants will be able to observe various objects.

According to the organizers from the Krasastro association, the Krasnoyarsk people are very highly of interest in astronomy, and the forum becomes an annual tradition. Support from the Pole, Rosmolodezh and the Presidential Grants Foundation helps make the event more ambitious and affordable for everyone.

Participation in all events of the forum is free, but preliminary registration is required to visit the city and field parts. For a trip to Khakassia, a transfer from Krasnoyarsk will be organized. All the details of the on -site part of the forum are collected in the memo.
