Andrei Nicolescu, Dinamo's president, spoke about the “dogs” transfer strategy and explained what difficulties are in negotiations.

The red-white official says that his team wants to form a lot based on local players, but that the Romanian teams ask for very high prices. And he gave an example to a missed transfer in winter, Valentin Robu, revealing that Metal Buzău asked the 22 -year -old striker twice as much as the one offered by Dinamo.

What transfer strategy does Dinamo have: “We want to bring Romanian players, but we are asked for double prices”

“We want the transfers we do we want to have a good impact this year and one and better next year. We try to find solutions that are potentially growing. That's why I didn't make some transfers. I saw them on solutions only at the moment. I made a nucleus of Romanian players. It's not as big as I want, but it will grow. And we will have more stability.

If I had an unlimited budget, I would pay and see if the wheels fit. From a qualitative point of view, it is difficult to do a batch of Romanians. All eyes are those who are good, they have a share, and when it comes to any discussion about transfers of players who have removed the head as much as two or three times more.

Anyone who has a product as much as in Romania thinks he has a chicken with golden eggs. He no longer thinks “we sell this one and we produce another.” Only they have that one in front and they have to maximize the profit.

We wanted to take a player in winter from Metalul Buzău. He was 21, Vali Robu. I was paying around 100,000 euros on it, plus some percent. I had a double counter -offender. It was a player who had not performed in Romania. I think this prohibitive price made him stay there. If I went abroad with 200,000 euros, I would certainly find a player. It is about the general perception in Romania ”, Andrei Nicolescu told Primasport.

Asked if Dinamo is preparing transfers this summer, the president of the White-Rosu club has revealed on what positions the players are looking for.

“We are in search. We want a central defender, a left defender and maybe an striker. Selmani's lack is felt because Perica still doesn't play. But we are in search. We have our tactic. We are trying to find teams that come out of European cups now and see what we can take. ”
