During the Russia -USA Summit, Megafon will ground traffic to news sites

From August 15 to 17, 2025, Megafon will ground a mobile Internet on leading Russian news resources. Thus, users will be able to monitor real time and without restrictions to monitor all important events during the Russia -USA summit.
The list of sites that are provided with free access included federal television channels, business publications and the most popular public media countries. This will allow subscribers both to read news and view video and text broadcasts. The full list includes 14 resources:

Traffic on the listed sites will be aborched automatically for all Megafon customers in Russia with a positive account balance, additional connection of the service is not required. Transitions for external links, including social networks and video hosting, will be targeted according to the conditions of the current tariff plan.
