“Our position, A gold, (…) is that the Republic of Moldova is an artificial state that cannot ensure security and well -being to its citizens, and the normal solution, from a historical, identity and geopolitical point of view, is that this artificial state to protect its citizens and to choose the correct, coherent, reunification solution with the motherland, “ said George Simion at the “Mihai Viteazul” Summer Academy organized at the Parliament Palace by the National Foundation for Romanians everywhere, writes Agerpres.
The leader of the senators Gold, Petrişor Peiu, announced a draft law on the establishment of the Moldova Fund, intended “Transparent and official investments made by Romanian entities in the Republic of Moldova “. George Simion expressed his support for this initiative.
“There is nowhere a sum of all the financial efforts that Romania has made in relation to the Republic of Moldova (…) The fund would be a transparent approach “said Peiu.
The director of the Romanian Center for Studies and Strategies within the National Foundation for Romanians everywhere, Eugen Popescu, a moderator of the meeting, proposed the inclusion in the school syllabus of several hours of history, with a chapter dedicated to the minorities of Romanians outside the country's borders, as well as the study of the classical Romanian writers, for the purpose of keeping the Romanian identity.
“All the Romanians who came around the borders and the Balkans have asked for the much stronger involvement of the Romanian state to help them maintain their identity, that is to create schools or to defend their schools, (…) to make firm diplomatic steps than the states in which these Romanians live, because they are subjected to an extremely strong pressure. (…) This is how other states do, so we do not invent the wheel. We look at Hungary, Poland, we look at the states that strongly manifest their identity both in the European concert, in the European Union, but also in terms of defending the minorities that these states have. So they do it just defending that language, defending the identity and defending the culture “said Eugen Popescu, executive president of the National Foundation for Romanians everywhere.
According to Eugen Popescu, the unification should take place according to the model of Germany.
“The reunion with the Republic of Moldova is not a matter of one party or another, it is a state policy. You have seen the example of Germany, where the Union was a state policy of federal Germany. The same thing must be done in Romania. See well that, for example, everything that means Subsidies for these Romanians From the historical communities it must somehow be equal to the subsidies that the Romanian state gives to the national minorities that it has here on its territory. : added the executive president of the National Foundation for Romanians everywhere.
Eugen Popescu mentioned that at the “Mihai Viteazul” Summer Academy, which takes place on Wednesday and Thursday at the Parliament Palace, participates, physically or online, representatives of Romanians from the Republic of Moldova, Serbia, Valea Timoc and Voivodina, Bulgaria, Albania, Ukraine.
