“During the patrol of the Desnyansky district, inspectors Igor Kostomakh and Dmitry Zakrevsky stumbled upon an unusual passerby – a magnificent forest traveler who lay exhausted on the sidelines. The situation is extremely unpredictable, because forest residents are often frightened and aggressive,” the report said.
In the post they said that law enforcement officers called the specialists of the Center for Rescue of Wild Animals.
“Fortunately, the elk was calm. Together with specialists, they carefully lured the animal to transport it without stress, and sent to a veterinary clinic for examination. Very soon, the moose will again admire their native forests – healthy and free,” they promised the police.
