In Krasnoyarsk, a contractor was found for the repair of the Metallurg fountain

Repair of the Metallurg fountain in Krasnoyarsk will be engaged in specialists of the Green Construction Department. The contract according to the public procurement procedure will be concluded by the end of the week. After that, the contractor will immediately be able to go to the facility, begin the purchase of materials and dismantling work.

Metallurg fountain is one of the largest in Krasnoyarsk. It is located in a green grove in the microdistrict near the palace of labor and consent. The fountain consists of two bowls and is equipped with backlight. This season it did not start.

During the overhaul, the entire granite cladding of the structure will be dismantled and replaced. The brigades will also repair the old cups of the fountain, mount the reinforcing frames, carry out concrete work, waterproof, put the blind area, trays in order, restore paving stones around the perimeter of the upper and lower bowl. In addition to the outer part of the fountain, all equipment will be repaired – light elements, nozzles, pipelines and pumps will be put in order.

“Work should be completed until November 30. Also, the terms of the contract provide for a guarantee of 2 years, ”the city hall said.

Recall that now in Krasnoyarsk 29 large city fountains are contained at the expense of the budget. This season, three of them were not launched – Metallurg, Rivers of Siberia and Ikar in the Soviet district of the city. The Siberian River Fountain will be restored after the completion of all work on theater square, and the Icarus fountain is in terms of major repairs. There are already design and estimate documentation, work is required, so they will be performed after determining the source of financing. Krashogorpark specialists will organize work.

Most of the fountains in the city were built in the late 90s of the early 2000s of the last century. Many were built without projects at the expense of private investors. The largest fountains are now contained at the expense of the city budget. They are regularly examined and repaired. The fountain season in the city usually lasts from May 9 to the first cold weather.
