Mohamed Salah (33 years old), Liverpool's far right, criticized UEFA, by posting on social networks after the death of Sulejman el-Baidalso known as “Pele of Palestine”.
Al -beid, a former Palestinian international footballer, lost his life at the age of 43, in an attack by the Israeli army in Gaza, while waiting for humanitarian help.
Mohamed Salah saw the UEFA post and reacted vehemently
UEFA expressed its condolences through a post on “x.com” (former Twitter). Salah, however, reacted by distributing the post and asking: “Can you tell us how it died? Where and why?”
This is not the first time that Liverpool's Egyptian star takes a public position in favor of Palestine and condemns the events in the Gaza Strip and the extended region.

Who was Sulejman El-Baid, nicknamed “Pele of Palestine”
Sulejman El-Baid had won the golfer trophy of the three seasons in a row, playing for the Kadamat club. It became a legend of this band after refusing to leave the relegation from the first league, in 2022. In the next season, he managed to restore the Kadamat band to the first division.
Sulejman El-Baid is the third member of the national Palestine team killed in the armed conflict with Israel. Before him, they lost their lives Moujin al-Maghibi and Mohamed Barakat.
Ever since Israel started his reprisals in Gaza after October 7, 2023, when the Hamas organization has kidnapped and killed more Israeli citizens. Since then, the balance of victims in Gaza has grown vertiginously, reaching 61,158 killed Palestinians and 151,442 injured, most of them children and women.
