More than 20 cars are blocked on Thursday night, following the flood produced on Transfăgărăşan, being brought to the road trunks of tree and stones. Also, a group of tourists announced that, out of eight people they went to the mountain, six returned to the car, and two are missing.

According to officials from the County Gendarmes Inspectorate (IJJ) Argeş, about 20-30 vehicles are blocked on Thursday night on Transfagărăşan because of the flood that brought from the slope trees and stones that make the traffic impossible, reports News.ro.

In the Piscu Negru area, the road was covered, largely covered with gravel, sludge and tree trunks, on the spot intervening crews of the Gendarmerie and the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations.

Two people are searched

The first data on the spot show that no victims are reported, but at the same time, the number of tourists stuck with cars in the mountain area is not known.

Road traffic is completely blocked, on Thursday night, on DN 7C – Transfăgărăşan – in Argeş county, due to the alluviums brought from the slopes on the road.
