“The approval by the Zionist cabinet of some plans to occupy the city of Gaza and to evacuate its inhabitants is a new war crime that the occupation army wants to commit against the city and to the nearly one million inhabitants”, It is shown in a statement broadcast by Hamas on Telegram, according to news.ro.

Accusations to Netanyahu
The decision to occupy the city of Gaza was announced on Friday morning, after a meeting of the security office led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Hamas states that this demonstrates the lack of interest of the Israeli government for hostage safety.
“They understood that the prolongation of aggression means their sacrifice, revealing their recklessness to the life of the prisoners, in favor of some failed political objectives.“Hamas said.
The situation of the hostages
According to the Israeli army, Hamas still owns 49 hostages, 27 of whom died from the attack of October 7, 2023, when the Palestinian militants killed hundreds of people in the south of Israel.
