Netanyahu: We want to take control of gauze and give it to the Arab forces

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated on Thursday that he intends to take over military control over the entire territory of the Gaza Zone, but eventually transfer it to the management of “Arab forces”.

When asked if Israel wants to take control of the entire Gaza zone, Netanyahu replied that he “intends to do so”, although he noted that he did not want an annexation of the territory.

– We intend to ensure security, remove Hamas, allow the population to free themselves from gauze and give it to the civil government, which will not be Hamas or anyone who is in favor of the destruction of Israel. That's what we want to do – he said.

As he said, Israel wants to transfer control over the gauze “Arab forces that will rule it properly, without threatening us and providing us with Gaza's good life.”

The journalist of the station Bill Hemmer noticed that Israel still does not control about 25 percent. The territory of the Gaza Strip, and the operation aimed at conquering the rest of this land will probably require hostilities lasting several months and another displacement of the population in these areas. This plan is the subject of the Thursday meeting of the Israeli office.

Netanyahu assured that he talked about it with US President Donald Trump and that he supported his plan. Trump, when asked about the possibility of taking control over the whole gauze by Israel, said on Tuesday that he focuses on providing food for Palestinians, and Israel will “do his own thing.”

Fox News estimates that although Netanyahu declares that he does not want an annexation of the territory, some religious right leaders call to settle in.
