The goalkeeper explains that the surgery was established together with the doctors and the agreement of the club, aiming to protect his health and his long -term career: “I publicly announced the minimum recovery time indicated by the medical experts, always in coordination with FC Barcelona”.
The goalkeeper firmly rejected the idea that his absence would have been used to register other transfers: “All the contract signals and extensions were made before the operation. I think any other interpretation is unfair and inexact”.
