The incident spent in the area of Basarabia Boulevard. The victim is about 48 years old and is not known to the aggressor. She suffered an injury in the shoulder area.

Representatives of the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Court said that the woman is in the hospital, and the attacker was detained.

He is a recidivist, having a history of offenses such as the attempt to rape, sexual aggression and robbery. There is no data to show that the attacker has a psychiatric history, the Prosecutor's representatives said.

The aggressor is now accused of attempted murder. The investigation being in progress.
