“Karol Nawrocki was not a predistinated to come so high. He owes it to the narrative”

Karol Nawrocki was not predistinated to get so high and so quickly – believes the daily “Le Figaro”. According to the French newspaper Nawrocki, whose swearing in for the President of the Republic of Poland took place on Wednesday, he won the election not thanks to innate skills, but thanks to the narrative about the world he identifies.

“Le Figaro” reminds that the father of the new President of the Republic of Poland was a turner in the Gdańsk Shipyard, and the mother of a bookbinder in the library. He adds that Nawrocki quickly began to gain experience in public institutions.

The author of the article pointed out that in 2016, three years after obtaining a doctorate in history, Nawrocki joined the attacks from the right to former President Lech Wałęsa, who was accused of “collaboration with communist services”. Just then – according to “Le Figaro” – he was noticed by the President of Law and Justice Jarosław Kaczyński, whose daily he described as “unquestionable master of sovereign right in Poland“.
