Who will renewor go to? The Ministry of Energy wants them for itself

This large market segment, which are renewable energy sources, should be centralized in the ministry creating energy -related regulations – said journalists of the Minister of Energy Miłosz Motyk. He added that there would definitely be a discussion in the government. Currently, the RES Department is in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.

On Tuesday, Motyk, asked in Świerk by journalists about whether it would be possible to move renewable energy to his ministry, replied that the industry of renewable energy sources appeals for it.

We believe that this large market segment, which are renewable energy sources, should be centralized in the ministry creating energy -related regulations and we stand in such a position – we understand these appeals, we will definitely also discuss it in the government – said the head of ME.

He added, however, that there is no law on departments yet.

“And as long as there is no law, we are obliged to act within one government and I am happy about this cooperation (with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage). I am counting on it and I believe that it will be fast and dynamic, because Polish energy, Polish economy for these projects just cannot wait” – he emphasized.

He added that especially the project regarding the marine wind energy is “soon to be located on the permanent committee of the Council of Ministers”.

On July 28, on the occasion of the presentation of the project of updating the national plan in the field of energy and climate until 2030 (KPEiK), minister of climate Paulina Hennig-Kloska said that he is very happy that the RES department remains in her ministry and that, contrary to various opinions, she thinks that this is a very good distribution of duties. She noted that there is no consent of the Parliamentary Club Polska 2050 to change this division in the division. (PAP Biznes)
