The head of the village council in Khakassia was convicted of destroying the monument of the EVA instead of its reconstruction

In Khakassia, a sentence was sentenced to the head of the heystovsky village council, which ordered the destruction of the Memorial complex “Eternal Glory”. This was told in the UK.
In January 2023, the woman came up with the initiative to repair the monument in The village of Teplichnaya Ust-Abakan district. The proposal was supported by the deputies of the village council, but they did not know that, as part of the restoration, the head plans to destroy the memorial.
Already in April 2023, she signed a contract with the entrepreneur for the demolition of the monument. For this, the contractor received 280 thousand rubles.
Now a new memorial complex has been erected at the site of the monument – it cost the budget of 5 million rubles.
The court sentenced the woman by the year of compulsory work with deprivation of the right to occupy positions in the civil service during this time.
