In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the head of another forestry fell under criminal prosecution (video)

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the head of the Magansky forestry is suspected of abuse of authority, the State Service of the Investigative Directorate of the IC of the region said.

It was established that in 2024, a budget institution received funding from the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Forest Complex of the Territory as part of the state assignment for agricultural technology for trees. Based on this, a plan for the implementation of measures was drawn up on 9 forest areas with a total area of 71 hectares.

“However, the work was not actually carried out, and the money, on the direction of the head of the forestry, was used for other purposes. As a result of the illegal actions of the suspect of the budget of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, material damage was caused in the amount of more than 380 thousand rubles, ”the UK said.

In relation to the defendant, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of authority committed from other personal interest). He conducted searches at his house and at work, during which the documents were seized for the investigation.

Currently, the necessary actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime.
