A request for a loan of EUR 120 million for Polish military equipment


“Thanks to this loan, we are ready to buy products in Poland in Poland. Poland has good traditions in production for the defense industry and we are ready to consider buying them. That is why, of course, we will talk, among others, about co -production both on the territory of Ukraine and in Poland. It is a common interest, a mutually favorable interest and a contribution to our common future” – he emphasized.
Asked about a specific amount of the requested loan, Sybiha confirmed: “It's about 120 million euros.”

The subject of the visit of the new President of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, in Kiev also appeared in the conversation. “As for the date of the visit of the newly elected President Karol Nawrocki – our invitation is open. We are very interested in establishing a dialogue between the leaders of both countries as soon as possible. We are open to a discussion on important matters in our agenda. That is why we are waiting for the visit of the President of the Friendly Poland in Friendly Ukraine and we do not have to wait for some symbolic dates to make this invitation” – he said.
Sybiha also referred to delicate historical issues, emphasizing that there was real progress. “I think that we have achieved significant progress in this matter. We have created an intergovernmental commission. Currently, both the Ukrainian and Poland have begun issuing appropriate permits for search and exhumation work.
