“Have you ever thought about creating your own criminal empire, without legal and moral consequences? Slide into the dark alleys of drug business and beat the fortune” – this is the description on Steam's Steam website quite a controversial Polish computer game, which has just pierced a million buyers in the PC itself. It is about the second Simulator dealer in the first installment, which debuted in April 2020, i.e. at the beginning of the pandemic. The game may not have great ratings, because on Metacritic from players it has 4.8/10, and from critics 59/100, but as you can see it did not prevent the players' interest.
He has been playing from April this year. It is sold for Xbox consoles, where it found buyers of 29.2 thousand. copies, and from June this year. On PlayStation 5 consoles with sales so far 11.5 thousand pieces. “The company simultaneously conducts activities whose target effect will be PlayStation 4 release of the game on the PlayStation platform” – we read in a message. In total, sales amounted to 41,000 copies.
An addition to the second part of the series called Casino was also created, which in the first week of the premiere of June 20 this year. He found almost 5,000 buyers on the Steam platform.
27. Millionaire on the list of Polish games
Thus, the second Simulator dealer managed to advance to the group of Polish millionaires in the gaming industry. He became the 27th member of the elite group. Recent successes should be mentioned from the end of July, according to which the sale of Green Hell from Creepy Jar came to 8 million copies, becoming the biggest hit of this publishing house.
The threshold of 10 million has so far pierced only six Polish games, including three CD Project projects: The Witcher 3 (60 million), Cyberpunk 2077 (30 million) and an add -on – to Cyberpunk (Ghost of Freedom (10 million); two Techland projects: Dying Light (20 million) and Dying Light 2 (10 million) and one Games: Lords of the Fallen (10 million).
