PiS is striving for a coalition partner. What is the confederation playing in?

PiS sources related to PiS reported that the group is seeking a coalition partner who can now be a confederation and counts on the signing of a program declaration. In turn, voices flowing from the confederation speak of a frivolous proposal and assess it as a game calculated to acquire the grouping of the group.

Last week at a press conference PiS president Jarosław Kaczyński together with the spokesman of the group Rafał Bochenko presented the document entitled “Polish Declaration”, which contains 10 PiS demands on economic, foreign or social policy. According to Kaczyński, all “divisions that are currently sitting in Poland” should be explained. For this reason – he said – PiS presents a declaration addressed to signing, among others through the confederation.

In an interview with PAP, Bochenek indicated that The declaration is “a public, open invitation to confederation leaders to discuss these points and to sign this declaration.” – The declaration is also aimed at showing, outline some main directions in which actions will be taken, if there were some cooperation in the future – he added.

However, the confederation politicians asked by PAP about an invitation to cooperate, however, show far -reaching caution about Kaczyński's proposal. They accuse him of hypocrisy and see in 10 points presented not so much the desire to agree and establish a potential coalition as the games calculated to take over the confederation electorate.

One of the group's deputies emphasized that even the fact that many of the points presented are convergent with the program and the postulates proclaimed by the confederation – will not prompt politicians of this formation to sign them. – We do not seriously approach this proposal and consider it totally frivolous. What Kaczyński did, both in the national and libertarian environment is perceived as a proposal from the cap. As if he wanted to talk, it's not through the media. Let's be serious – said one of the deputies associated with the National Movement.

In turn, one of the PiS parliamentarians emphasized in an interview with PAP that in politics the standard situation is to propose “some things in public, because we also show program proposals to voters.”

– I think these are exaggerated claims, that we don't only talk privately. Confederation voters have the right to know what offer we present on behalf of Law and Justice – he noted.

According to another important confederation MP, related to new hope, there are no behind -the -scenes conversations regarding a possible coalition with PiS and in the near future will certainly not come to them. Talking to PAP, he emphasized that in the opinion of most politicians of the grouping, Kaczyński's goal is to marginalize all forces on the right side of the political scene.

As the confederation politician pointed out, nNo coalition can be ruled out in the future, but the conversation about it two years before the parliamentary elections is pointless. In his opinion, the politicians of the Confederation soberly look at the possibility of arranging with PiS and will not allow the scenario to absorb the party, which we were dealing with in the event of Jarosław Gowin's agreement or Zbigniew Ziobra's sovereign Poland. “We won't be fooled,” he emphasized.

In turn, as she learned PAP from sources in PiS, Law and Justice politicians are to hear unofficial talks with individual confederation politicians regarding possible cooperation between both groups. The PAP interlocutor emphasizes that “lobby conversations are taking place, which is something obvious.” He noted that the rapprochement of both groups took place after the presidential election.

The interlocutor with PiS assessed that PiS and the Confederation “are not as possible as Civic Platform with the third way during the election” in 2023. According to this source, “many deputies from the confederation say that if some of the confederation authorities were against the PiS coalition, they would go to the side of Law and Justice.”

PiS politician also assured that talks with representatives of PSL or Poland 2050 are underway. – These are not people who already indicate that they absolutely come (to PiS), but some politicians of the young generation say directly that Donald Tusk pulls them a little down – said the interlocutor of PAP.

– This “Polish declaration” is an attempt to show that today PiS is distributing cards, but in 2 years everything can turn around. Who knows if then support for us will not be higher than for the Kaczyński party – said one of the confederation politicians in an interview with PAP.

The PiS pap source emphasized that a question should be asked“Will the confederation politicians not dig up such deep ditches in a moment that it will be hard to bury them later.” The source pointed out that currently in social media between PiS politicians and the Confederation is “exchanging blows”. “So I don't think there is a good atmosphere for conversations,” he said.

On Tuesday, the leader of New Hope Sławomir Mentzen published a film on his YouTube channel regarding his opposition to signing the so -called “Polish declaration”. – Kaczyński has so far destroyed and not only politically, but also physically, mentally, every previous coalition partner. This is a political gangster – the confederation politician said.

The film critically commented on many PiS politicians, which in turn also critically reacted by the confederation MPs. On platform X incl. PiS deputy head Przemysław Czarnek assessed that Mentzen crossed “the boundaries of even an unkitural polemic.” – Naming Jarosław Kaczyński “political gangster” and putting him on an equal footing with Donald Tusk is unacceptable for us – emphasized the interlocutor associated with PiS for PAP.

Great rearranging in the energy department. What will be the effect?

The 15 x coalition after long preparations has been in the composition of the Council of Ministers, and above all in the energy sector. Since mixing, the tea usually does not become sweeter, which is why in the latest episode of the economic point of view we decided to check whether this tea with electricity and not only with it, took some “sweets”.

Changes, changes, changes. The last reconstruction of Donald Tusk's government brought his expected depletion and reorganization, but also a few personal surprises. In the latest “WSE”, however, we will focus primarily on the structure, especially the energy sector, but also the new “superminister”, which is managed by Andrzej Domański, and all this with our guest Dr. Adam Karpiński from the University of WSB Merito.
