In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, over the past week, 132 people, including 18 children, addressed the doctors with complaints of sucking ticks. They shared statistics in Rospotrebnadzor.

The total number of victims in the region since the beginning of the season amounted to 13,803 people. 316 of them fell ill with tick -borne infections: with tick -borne viral encephalitis – 160, Borreliosis – 138, Siberian tick -borne typhoid – 17, erlichiosis – 1.
To protect yourself and close to sucking the tick, do not forget to observe precautions, and always carefully examine the pets after a walk.
Epidemiologists recall that to protect against tick -borne infections, the most effective measure is vaccination.
