CSM Reșița will not register in Division A of Romanian handball (second value echelon). The management of the club even proposed the abolition of the senior team.

At women's handball, CS Măgura Cisnădie withdrew before establishing the program, and Gloria Buzău was abolished last year. CSJ Prahova and Science Bucharest, the two bands promoted, announced that they have no money to play on the first stage.
