The trade cooperation of the United States with India is very small and almost none of Russia – said US President Donald Trump on Thursday.

“I don't care what India is doing with Russia. As for me, they can sink their extinct economies together,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform.
Earlier on Wednesday, Trump announced that he would impose a 25 % duties on goods from India and an indefinite “punishment” for buying Russian oil. Income from this trade allows Russia to continue the invasion of Ukraine.
“Remember that although India is our friends, for years we have conducted relatively few interests with them, because their duties are definitely too high, one of the highest in the world, and also have the most burdensome and unbearable of all countries, non-financial trade barriers,” wrote Trump, justifying the introduction of 25 % duties.
“What's more, zAwsze bought the vast majority of their military equipment from Russia and are the largest Russian energy recipient, next to China, while everyone wants Russia to stop murdering in Ukraine – all this is not good!” – he noted.
The Indian government announced that it was analyzing the consequences of Trump's announcement. (PAP)
