Trump sharply about Powel: “He is a total loser, too stupid to be the president of the Fed”

US President Donald Trump once again attacked on Thursday the president of Central Bank Jerome Powell, claiming that he was a “real loser” and is too stupid and politicized to be the head of the federal reserve.

“Jerome” late “Powell did it again !!! He is too late, or rather too angry, too stupid and too political to have the position of the president of the federal reserve,” wrote the US president in a morning post on a social network.

“It costs our country a trillion of dollars, and there is one of the most incompetent or corrupt renovation of buildings in the history of construction! In other words,” late “is a total loser, and our country pays the price for it!” He added.

Trump's insults are a reaction to the Wednesday decision of the FED committee to re -leave interest rates at the current level despite Trump's strenuous demands to lower them.

Powell explained on Wednesday at a press conference that the decision is related to the still uncertain economic perspectives and unclear effects of introducing new duties. At the same time, he assessed that the economic situation was still good. The committee's decision for the first time in years, however, did not come unanimously, because two of the eleven voting members submitted a separate sentence.

Trump referred in the entry to the costs of renovating the Federal Reserve building, which in his opinion costs too much and which provoked some of the Republicans in the congress to initiate investigating this matter against the head of the Fed. Powell's term of office – originally appointed by Trump in 2017 – passes in 9 months.
