One year after leaving Oil, Jair Tavares officially returned to Superliga

Jair Tavares midfielder, 30, who impressed in the period spent at OilJune 2022 – June 2024, returned to Superliga, now at Hermannstadt, after a season in which he played at Erokspor in Turkey, respectively Mes Rahesanjan in Iran.

Brazilian Jair Tavares had evolutions appreciated in the oil shirt, resulting in 10 goals and 9 decisive passes in a total of 75 appearances.

In 2023, Craiova University sought to transfer it from Ploiești, but the “yellow wolves” refused hundreds of euros proposed from Bănie.

Finally, Jair left for free in the summer of 2024, at the maturity of the contract with Oil. He played for a few months in Turkey, 9 matches and a goal at Eseler Erokspor, then passed in Iran, where he only played 4 times for Mes Romsanjan.

Again free contract, Jair chose to return to Romania, this time in Sibiu. He signed with Hermannstadt a valid contract two seasons and will bear the number 7, remaining vacant after the transfer of Ianis Stoica.
