On Thursday, during a press conference, the Minister of Finance and Economy referred to the issue of increasing the tax -free amount, which was promised during the election campaign in 2023. Earlier Prime Minister Donald Tusk pointed out that this increase will not be in 2026, and in 2027 it will be very difficult.

I can only repeat after the prime minister. In 2026, there will be no increase in the free amount, and in 2027 it can be very difficult, but in the Ministry of Finance work is underway to introduce this solution – said Domański.

He reminded that Poland spends 5 percent on reinforcements. GDP, meanwhile the cost of increasing the free amount to 60,000 PLN annually from the current 30,000 PLN is PLN 54 billion.

Domański: CIT detection detection with transfer prices is growing

On Thursday, the head of the Ministry of Finance and Economy presented plans regarding the fight against aggressive tax optimization using the so -called transfer prices. It is about the use by international corporations to overstate the prices of services and goods between entities in the capital group to reduce the amount of profits in Poland and thus reduce corporate income tax.

– In 2024, income, lowered by the cash register, lowered using transfer prices, increased by almost 100 percent. Only in the first half of 2025 we detected the understatement of CIT by 30 percent. higher than all over 2023 – said Andrzej Domański.

He announced the appointment of a competence center in Krakow, which will fight aggressive tax optimization using transfer prices. He also added that a team is to be created, whose task will be, among others Preparation of legislative proposals to make it difficult to use transfer prices to reduce CIT.
