Trump also said that Russian leader Vladimir Putin would like to come to the world championship. However – as he noted – this will depend on what will happen in the matter of war in Ukraine.

National Security Minister Kristi Noem emphasized that millions of people would come to the USA. She assured that receiving a visa for this purpose would not be a problem. Trump added that in the case of citizens of some countries it will be “very easy, in the case of others – a little more difficult”.

According to FIFA estimates, about 6 million fans will come to matches, at least 6 billion people are to watch at home.

Next year's World Championships, co -organized by the USA, Canada and Mexico, will be the first in which 48 teams will compete. 104 matches will be played.
