The Minister of Health, about the “fountain” of the state system by the private one: “We are all guilty, including patients”

The Minister of Health Alexandru Rogobete has stated, at Digi24, that the public health system is “scrambled” by some doctors who also have private offices or clinics, so that the state system often supports the costs or various medical tests, for operations or treatment to be done in private.
“It can be seen that the public system is shown,” said Alexandru Rogobete, referring to the fact that part of the private health system transfers costs to the public.
The Minister of Health said that the system is abused not by the large clinic chains, who have a corporate mentality, but by doctors who have smaller offices or clinics and who, after putting their patients to do the expensive tests or tests, then send them to their treatment or operation clinics.
“Not the big chains of private networks are the problem here, because there are working in corporate regime, but the individual offices, the small clinics, with an operating room, with three salons of the doctors who work in the public hospital,” explained the minister.
“He adores him in the Public Hospital to do all the expensive investigations, MRI, computer, tomography, analyzes that pay the house, then goes to the clinic or private office for the actual intervention, where he pays the intervention, after which, if he is complicated he returns to the Public Hospital (…) I am not told: You get infected, the tomography computer does not work here … This is the method according to which things work, “the Minister Rogobete exemplified. Subsequently, patients are redirected to the state system for recovery.
“We all did nothing 20-30 years. We are all guilty for this situation, including patients,” says Alexandru Rogobete.
Sanctions for incorrect practices
Rogobete said that the Ministry of Health works on a set of measures that drastically limit the unjustified transfers of patients between the public and private system, measures that will introduce sanctions for both state hospitals and private companies.
Also, the public units will have to display on the site a series of data that until now were inaccessible to patients, such as the list of doctors working in private offices.

Alexandru Rogobete also said that he intends to stimulate the system of private health insurance, complementary to the state, a system that, at present, has a limited stretch.
“The percentage is very small, not because people would not want to provide themselves with a private system, but because they have nowhere to go with them.
