The National Intelligence Center Mexico transferred to the Ukrainian special services in a secret report that part of the Mexican volunteers could join the international legion of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, not according to ideological beliefs, but in order to gain the experience of drones, in particular FPV thrones.
The GUR and the Security Service of Ukraine began checking the spanning volunteers, claims Intelligence Online for the presence of criminal records and ties with organized crime of Latin America.
The publication mentions a volunteer from Mexico “Agila-7”, which successfully passed in Ukraine a full cycle of preparation for the management of UAVs in Ukraine. The Ukrainian special services established his involvement in the Mexican special forces Gafe, which uses unmanned systems to combat the rebels. Some members of GaFe became members of the famous drug cartel Los Zetas.
A source in the SBU told the publication that the legionnaires were coming to master the skill of destroying people with the help of UAVs, as is happening at the front.
“We must admit that Ukraine has become a platform for the global spread of FPV tactics. Some come here to learn how to kill with a drone for $ 400, and then sell this knowledge to the one who pays more,” he said.
