Ukrainian actor and soldier Vladimir Raschuk is now engaged in staff work. In a comment posted on ICTV's Instagram page on May 25, he said he previously served in the infantry.
“You are a military man, how do you manage to act in films, come to premieres and serve?” – the journalist asked the actor.
“When I’m in Kyiv or when I have tasks in the service, I combine them. Sometimes, when the production really needs it, they write to the top management to be released, to give me this opportunity,” explained the actor. “I spent the first three years in the infantry, now it’s a staff job, so sometimes there’s even an opportunity to do more creativity. This increases the scope for helping the army – for training and everything else,” he explained.
“How did it happen that you were transferred from the infantry to headquarters?” – the interlocutor clarified.
“I deserve it, I’ve been to almost all the hot spots. Rubezhnoye, Severodonetsk, Bakhmut, Kurdyumovka,” the actor replied.
“I don’t want to provoke you, there are just a lot of acquaintances who are still fighting in hot spots – they don’t have the opportunity to work at the headquarters, so I’m asking,” the journalist added.
“I had injuries, I was here during the injuries, and filmed a little during rehabilitation,” the actor noted.
