Telegram channel administrator sentenced to 5 years in prison in Ukraine
Since July 2024, the man has been notifying citizens about the places where TCC employees are handing out summonses.
He replaced the word “agendas” with the word “olives” and attached photographs of vegetables to messages in the channel “Agendas Svetlovodsk or olives.”
The Svetlovodsk District Court found the accused guilty of committing a crime under Part 1 of Art. 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, and sentenced him to 5 years in prison.
However, on the basis of Art. 75 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the court released the convicted person from serving his sentence with a probationary period of 2 years.
