In Romania, the video is allegedly distributed with the alleged statement on the country's entry into the war. The Ministry of Internal Affairs was called not to succumb to fakes

The ministry explained that we are talking about videos in which the Prime Minister of Romania Elijan supposedly says that the country will enter the war in September. The published screenshot shows that we are talking about the war in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs assured that these videos are created using artificial intelligence, and their content is not true.

“These clips are a fake and are part of the action of deliberate manipulation of public opinion. The Prime Minister of Romania did not declare such statements, and Romania does not enter the war,” the report said.

Romanian law enforcement officers called on citizens to check the sources of information and not disseminate unverified content.
