Football: Dinamo's coach has a message for “disappointed supporters” after the first three stages. “We are talking a little more, we analyze more”

Dinamo football team coach Zeljko Kopic, said in a press conference on Tuesday that he understands supporters that they are disappointed and may be worried after this season start, but he is sure that his band will get out of this situation soon.

'I understand that, after these three stages, some people, the supporters are disappointed. Everyone was waiting for more. I was waiting. Some may be worried. But, I repeat, at this moment we do a good job. Players understand the situation and I am positive. I am sure that very soon we will leave this situation and start gathering points', said the coach, present at the press conference in which the extension of the partnership with the company of former shareholder Ionuț Negoiță was announced.

Regarding the derby with FCSB on Saturday, the Croatian technician mentioned that the opponents did not have a very good start of the season.

'They didn't even start the season as they expected. They had good matches, but also weaker ones. Tomorrow she plays an important match in Europe. We'll see what they will be for derby. But they have enough players in the lot, they will use the rotation. I do not believe in fatigue when it comes to a derby, because motivation is at the highest level. This will not be a decisive factor. Preparation for the match with FCSB starts tomorrow. We need to see which players will be played, from a medical point of view. The team is in a good form, with a good spirit. Now is a moment of reflection. We talk a little more, we analyze more. But we trust everything we do. And we will be prepared for the match with FCSB ', he explained.

Kopic hopes that officials in the club management will make 3-4 transfers in the next period.

'Where is the president? (no – laughs) Yes, again, nothing new to say. We are in discussions. Not only me, but we all insist on 3-4 extra players to complete the lot. Anyway, I think we have a good lot, we have a good mix between young players with potential and some experienced. We need a little time to compact everything to put all the pieces in their place. But with another 3-4 players, we will have more team competition, which will be better for everyone. We need all lines, an extra player. Yes, we have some problems in defense. When you analyze the matches, it is sometimes difficult. For example, last season I offered the opponent two or three occasions and won, although I did not create much. Now, in Galați, I had many opportunities. The opponents had two or three situations and scored two goals. This is football. I think all our defenders have quality. Most play together for some time, 'he added.

Asked if he is disappointed that Dinamo failed to transfer Marius Stefanescu from FCSB, Kopic replied: 'No. Even if I have a good opinion about him. But there are important things. First of all, any player must have the desire to play for Dinamo. Second, it is also the financial side, which is very important. I understand my club, we have some limits over which we cannot pass. I am not disappointed with this situation. We showed our interest, we made efforts to bring it. But if he made another decision, I must respect it. '
