The prosecutor's office ordered the Kansk administration to repair eight emergency municipal apartments. This was told in the press service of the department.
Now 476 residents of Kansk are officially recognized as those in need of housing, of which 26 should get an apartment out of turn. With an acute lack of housing in the city fund, there are eight empty apartments. All of them are recognized as dangerous for living – the floors there are destroyed, the walls are overwhelmed, the windows and doors were rotten, and the sewage system became unusable.
For a long time, the city hall did not repair them, referring to the lack of money. The court ordered the administration to provide financing in the budget and put housing in order within 1 year. The prosecutor’s office will follow how the court decision will be executed.
