During the period when he led the municipality of Oradea from the position of mayor, there were 4 contracts between the town hall and the company belonging to Hildegard Brandl, the life partner of the former Deputy Prime Minister Dragoș Anastasiu, said Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, in the press conference in which he announced the special pensions.

The head of the Government was asked if he knew how Hildegard Brandl came to be beneficiary of dozens of contracts with the state, including with the municipality of Oradea when he was mayor, and if there is any relationship between his daughter, who is an architect, and Anastasiu's life partner.

“I asked even the last days at the town hall and had 4 contracts in the 12 years I had. So if 4 contracts with an architect, from thousands of projects, it seems to me much, to know that it does not seem. Answer Bolojan, according to Agerpres.

“I was 12 years old the mayor of Oradia and I carried out thousands of projects. Only in the Centenary Year, 2019, Oradea City Hall celebrated with 100 investment projects. Each of these projects needs design, feasibility studies, etc. I worked with dozens of designers, architects, engineers and experts,” the prime minister said.

“My business card you see when you go to Oradea”

According to Bolojan, all the contracts that the Oradea City Hall concluded were made in compliance with the legal provisions and “were made in such a way that we have quality projects on the basis of which we can access European funding”.

“And no matter what I would tell you, my business card you see when you go to Oradea,” the prime minister added.

“If you see that something has been done or changed, it means that I did something, it's not perfect,” said Bolojan, who had three mayor of Oradea, between 2008 and 2020.
